The general pattern of the test is that first the written exam is conducted and after the results have been announced the qualifying candidates are called in for counselling where in they are given their choices in terms of colleges and the branches that they can opt for.
Follow up:
The subjects in which the candidates will be tested are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The four exams will take place over a period of 2 days. Each day two exams will be conducted between the hours of 10:30 am and 4:00 pm.
Each of the question papers will have 60 questions and each of these questions will be worth 1 mark each.
The time allotted for the completion of the paper will be 80 minutes.
The answer sheet is an OMR sheet so the correct answers should be marked by shading the correct circle completely and without spilling outside the border.
Remember to always fill the answer by shading the complete circle and not by drawing lines, crosses or dots in it.
Use a ball point pen for the shading as it will put the right amount of force on the page to also make the same marking on the second copy of the answer sheet.
The second copy of the answer sheet can be taken home by the candidates and should be retained for a period of 1 year.
The answer key for the question paper will be published approximately a month after the examination
