Before the merit list is published the candidates are informed of the results and are given a stipulated period of time to have their results re-evaluated in case they feel that their marks are incorrect. The final Merit list is not published before this time period is over. The period generally extends for 7 days prior to the announcing of the Merit list.

Follow up:

In case the candidate does not agree with the marks awarded to them then they can approach COMED-K with the problem. They will also have to send a DD for the amount of Rs100/- per candidate, a copy of their OMR answer sheet and the answer key. In case there is a genuine mistake then the money will be refunded and the changes will be made to the candidates marks.

In case the candidate wishes to have the solution to a particular question(s) clarified then that can also be sent across to COMED-K along with a DD for Rs. 100/- per question and made out in favour of “COMEDK-20XX", where "20XX" indicates the year of the exam. Along with the question the candidate must send in a copy of the OMR answer sheet and the Answer key for which the clarification is sought.

As is the case with most exams, no pleas for a re-evaluation will be entertained however unlike the CET in COMED-K, as there is no prescribed minimum score, all students who take the test will find their names on the merit list and will have a rank in accordance with their score in the exam.
