Every year, after conducting Karnataka CET, candidates are offered seats in various professional colleges based on the merit list. These seats are divided in three main categories:
Follow up:
Free Seats – These are the seats that are offered to the students who get the highest ranks (generally from 1 to 500) and the fee for such a seat is usually between Rs. 2000 to Rs. 4000 pa.
Payment Seats – These are the seats that are offered to students that follow the top ranks and are charged an approximate amount of about Rs. 25000 pa.
Management Seats – These are the most expensive seats and are assigned be the management of the colleges or the government at their discretion. The students may have to pay up to 2 to 3 lacks based on the course chosen by the student.

The fee structure for these seats is as follows:
Dental seats
CET Government concession: 40% Fee: Rs. 32,000 approx
COMED-K Management seat: 45% Fee: Rs 2,30,000 approx
Medical Seats
CET Government concession: 40% Fee: Rs. 42,000 approx
COMED-K Management seat: 40% Fee: Rs 3,25,000 approx
Engineering Seats –
Private Aided 95% concession Fee Rs.18090 approx
Private Unaided 55% concession Fee Rs.28090 approx
Private Minority 45% Seats by govt CET Rs.28090 approx
Important points
Candidates must take all supporting documents and a demand draft for the amount of the fee for the course they wish to take for allotment of seats.
CET will not be sending any individual notifications to students regarding the dates or schedules of the counselling. If there are any changes made to the schedule then a notice will be posted on the CET website.
