« Karnataka CET exam fee raisedCET and COMEDK conflict resolved »

KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) announced that it will be starting a service that will aim to update students about all the latest developments regarding the Karnataka CET 2010 exams via an SMS. The data for this service, they claimed, is to be acquired from the PU department.

Follow up:

This announcement comes in the wake of the delays in the publishing of the brochure for CET 2010. The officials at KEA claimed that they could publish the forms but they were waiting for the seat matrix and fee structures to be decided on so that the students could fill up the forms properly. KEA also mentioned that since there had been a delay, all the students would have left the schools/ colleges to study at home; which in turn would cause a problem when it came to informing them of the release of the forms.

The service in question here is the SMS updates that KEA plans to send out so that students who are already on leave will be able to keep up with the announcements even though they are not in the school anymore.

This service is very similar to the one provided by ImproveYourRank.in where all its members are kept up to date not only about the dates for exams but also other updates regarding the field of education. A great advantage to those subscribing to this service from ImproveYourRank.in is that if the student happens to loose their phones or change their numbers, all they have to do is to log into their accounts on the website and update the new number to get the updates.

How to Subscribe to this service?

For those who have not yet subscribed to this service and wish to receive updates, the process is simple; All they have to do is to logon to ImproveYourRank.in and register for FREE by providing their mobile numbers and email ids. Along with sending messages via mobiles, ImproveYourRank will also be sending updates to it's members via e-mail so that all are aware of the latest news.
