Just like CET there is no negative marking in the COMED-K exam and the pattern of the exam is such that the first papers will be Physics and Chemistry in one paper itself. This paper will have 120 questions and will be divided into 60 question for Physics and 60 for Chemistry.
Before the merit list is published the candidates are informed of the results and are given a stipulated period of time to have their results re-evaluated in case they feel that their marks are incorrect. The final Merit list is not published before this time period is over. The period generally extends for 7 days prior to the announcing of the Merit list.
